Russell Cellular will be celebrating its grand opening Tuesday, Dec. 23 at its 89th location in the Village Mall in New Boston.

"Russell offers aggressive pricing on phones and they run customer appreciation specials all the time. We (Russell Cellular) just started selling Direct TV," Ashley Hagelman, sales manager, said.

Russell Cellular is Alltel's largest exclusive authorized agent and a Dish Network and DirecTV agent.

"(New Boston) is one of those locations where traditionally Alltel has done a good job with coverage and service. We needed a store that's dedicated to consumer service for the area. There's corporate store in Ashland and we have a store in Chillicothe and South Point. This is that middle point were we need to be available for our consumers," Hagelman said.

The New Boston store will mark the company's 20th Ohio store. The company has expectations for this store to one of their top five and most successful locations, because of where it's located and the need for the store.

The hours of operations for the store will be Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., and Sunday, 12-5 p.m.

As a part of the grand opening celebration the store will be offering a wide selection of discounted items.
