Brenda was born July 20, 1957, in Portsmouth, a daughter of Louise Henson Davis of New Boston and the late Leo Davis. Brenda was a 1975 graduate of Glenwood High School, a respiratory therapist having worked at SOMC and the former Southern Hills Hospital, and she attended North Moreland Christian Baptist Church.
She was married Sept. 18, 1979, in South Shore, to Donald R. Dillow, Jr., who survives. Also surviving are her son, Donald Dillow III of Wheelersburg; two sisters, Carol Zornes and husband Michael of McDermott and Shirley Purdy Howard of South Shore; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, with Pastor Paul Hagen officiating, and with burial at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation was Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. and one hour before the service at the funeral home.
