He was born in Scioto County to Richard and Mae Throckmorton at their home on June 19, 1931. Imogene attended service at Oswego Church in Otway.
She is survived by her husband, Victor Crabtree of Lucasville; seven daughters, Patty Crabtree and Diana Hobbs, both of Piketon, Ohio, Barbara Overman and Kitty (Russell) Burchett, both of Hillsboro, Ohio, Nancy (Bruce) Bateman of North Carolina, Lora (Ivan) Crabtree and Tonya (Al) Fetzer, both of Lucasville, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Sherry (Roger) Burton of Lucasville, Ohio, and Vicki (Jack) Small of Troy, Ohio. Imogene had 29 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four brothers, Gary, Ed, Tom and Dave.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Oppy; one daughter, Sue Ellis Glenn; one son, Harry Oppy Jr.; three sisters, Vivian, Lula, and Barbara; two brothers, Herb and Don; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Christs Restoration Branch on Pine Lane, Lucasville, with Milford Crabtree and Danny Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Rockwell Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Botkin Funeral Home in Otway, and one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.
