Craig J. Opperman, Scioto County engineer, announced the work schedule for the engineer's Office for Tuesday through Friday as follows:

Painting lane arrows - County crews painting lane arrows on Ohio River Road in Porter Township, weather permitting, on Wednesday and Thursday.

Chip and seal - Cramer Road in Morgan Township; Nauvoo Pond Creek in Union and Washington townships; Rarden Road in Rarden Township.

Mowing - Mohawk in Rush and Union townships; Big Bear Creek in Morgan and Rarden townships; Big Run, Cramer and Sedan Crabtree in Morgan Township.

Bridge replacement - Dever Road, Township Road 205, in Madison Township is scheduled for bridge replacement by DGM Inc.; bridge located one-half mile from Piketon Road, starting Monday through Oct. 31; a temporary road will be provided and traffic will be maintained.

Sheldon Cartro, County Road 308, in Green Township will be closed through Friday, both day and night; bridge located 350 feet from Ohio 522, 2.93 miles from Lick Run Lyra, .90 miles from Snook Road; replacement by country crews; no detour provided, open on both ends.

Resurfacing is scheduled

Department of Highways District 9 in Flemingsburg, Ky., announces the resurfacing of various routes in Greenup County, Ky., by the Blacktop Industries and Equipment Company for $792,833.10.
