The Area Agency on Aging District 7 is sponsoring its annual Senior Expo from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 12, at the Scioto County Fairgrounds and invites seniors from all around to participate in activities designed specifically with them in mind.

This year's storybook theme is "Once Upon a Time," and more than 100 exhibitors will be on hand to provide door prizes and health screenings.

Organizers said exhibitors already are planning how to decorate their booths, which may include Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Little Mermaid, the Lion King and many others.

Other activities include bingo, birthday chronicle, cake auction, free water, caricature art, a veterans' recognition program and music by the Joe Freeman Band.

The 8th Annual Antique/Classic Car Show also is set to take place, rain or shine. There is no entry fee, however, donations to cover expense of the show will be accepted. Trophies and dash plaques will be awarded.
