Waterford took Notre Dame down with scores of25-11, 25-15 and 25-15.
Libby Welsh had nine kills while Erin Monroe had three kills and two blocks.
“The Sectional win was a big one for us but we just fell short tonight and couldn’t find our niche,” Notre Dame coach Stephanie Craft said.
The second seeded Titans defeated Manchester last Thursday to advance to the District Semi-Final but could not keep up with the Wildcats.
Notre Dame finished the regular season 15-5 and tied for second in the conference with Clay.

“Those four were good players for us and combined they will be hard to replace,” Craft said.
