Resurfacing begins in Lewis County, Ky.

Department of Highways District 9 in Flemingsburg, Ky., have announced new blacktop is coming to Ky. 59 in Lewis County, Ky.

Full paving operations should be under way later this week. The project could take about two weeks to complete, weather permitting. Mountain Enterprises Inc., was awarded a $349,930.88 contract for the resurfacing work.
