Man arrested for voyeurism at mall|Dressed as a woman and took photos in women's restroom

A Scioto County man has been arrested by Ashland, Ky., authorities and charged with taking photos of women in a store restroom at an Ashland mall.

Christopher Blume, 28, of Minford, is accused of disguising himself as a woman, entering the women's restroom at Ashland Town Center and utilizing a cell phone with a camera to take photographs of unsuspecting females.

Ashland Police Department reported responding to Ashland Town Center in reference to a suspicious person and activity inside the women's restroom of the mall at 4:27 p.m. Monday.

Lt. Darren Wilson, Ashland Police Department field operations watch commander, said upon arrival, officer Lisha Branham conducted an investigation that concluded with the arrest of Blume.

Branham arrested Blume on a Boyd County, Ky., warrant issued in the case, charging him with voyeurism.

Blume was transported to and lodged in Boyd County Detention Center.
