The Rev. Donnie B. Wilfong, 74, of Portsmouth, died Sunday, May 18, 2008, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
He was a retired Methodist minister and a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church. He was a man who loved serving the Lord and being a positive spiritual influence on the community. He had previously pastored the former First United Methodist Church of Portsmouth.
He is survived by his wife, Marjory Wilfong; two children, Donna Hensley of Portsmouth, and Richard (Kathy) Wilfong of Fostoria, Ohio; and four grandchildren, Bryan Hensley of Portsmouth, Amber Hensley of Piketon, Ohio, and Michelle and Stephanie Wilfong of Fostoria, Ohio.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Memorial Burial Park, with the Rev. Perry Prosch officiating. Friends may call at F.C. Daehler Mortuary Company Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
