Born April 28, 1947, in Portsmouth, he was the son of the late Raymond Lloyd and Rita Carr Hiles.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Monk Hiles; one son, Gary R. (Julie) Hiles of Portsmouth; one brother, Rick (Linda) Hiles of Portsmouth; one sister, Jamie (Danny) Austin of New Boston; and two grandchildren, Ty and Alyssa Hiles.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Brant Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
