Vaccinations will be $5 to $13 each. Heartworm testing will be offered at all locations.

Cats must be transported in carriers, and dogs must be leashed. For more information, call (740) 858-2446.

Free fishing is Saturday

Ohioans are encouraged to take advantage of "Free Fishing Days" Saturday and Sunday to experience the great angling opportunities Ohio has to offer. For these two days only, anglers may fish any of the state's public waters without a license.

During the rest of the year, anglers age 16 and older are required to have a valid fishing license to take fish, frogs or turtles from Ohio waters. Fishing licenses are available at bait and tackle stores, outdoor outfitters, major department stores and at wildohio.com.

Women's health screening is set

The Health Connections program of King's Daughters Medical Center (Ky.) is sponsoring a Women's Health Screening 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, at its Medical Specialties - Portsmouth facility, 2001 Scioto Trail.

The health screening event will include total cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, blood oxygen tests and body mass index. Heart, stroke, breast cancer, skin cancer and tobacco education also will be provided.

Fasting is not required. No appointment is necessary.
