James H. Diehl, D.D., general superintendent in Church of the Nazarene, will preach during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service at Plymouth Heights Church of the Nazarene.

Diehl is married to the love of his life, Dorothy, and together they have four children and seven grandchildren.

Michael Brashear presents concert

Michael Brashear, soloist, will be in concert at 7 p.m. Thursday at Community Church, Carmichael Street, South Webster. There will be no charge but an offering will be taken.

Originally from Russellville, Ark., he now resides in Castalian Springs, Tenn., with his wife of 25 years, Cathy, and their four children, Ben, 21, Morgan, 18, Cade, 13, and Carson, 9.

Jubilee Choir rehearses Tuesday

The Jubilee Choir will have a rehearsal at 7 p.m. Tuesday, at Scioto Baptist Church, Cockrells Run Road, north of Lucasville, two miles off of U.S. 23. Everyone is invited to be part of the 200-voice Jubilee Choir. Youth especially are invited to join.

Other rehearsals will be May 5, at the church, and every night at 6:30 p.m. in the 4-H building at Scioto County Fairgrounds, Fairground Road, Lucasville.

The 12th-annual Spring Jubilee will be at 7 p.m. May 12 to 16, at Scioto County Fairgrounds.
