Lora Mae Lykins, 86, of Walters Road, Lucasville, Ohio, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 18, 1922, in Pike County, Ohio, to the late John and Hannah Woods Brown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lykins, on March 26, 1999.

Surviving are four sons, Carey Lykins of Charlotte, N.C., Glendale Lykins and wife, Brenda, and Rick Lykins, both of Piketon, and Ronald Lykins of Latham; five daughters, Donna Jean Royster and husband, Roscoe, Debbie Landon and husband, Jeffrey, both of Lucasville, Betty Skidmore of Piketon, Tressa Eaton of Dayton, and Cathy Hardy and husband, William, of Marion, N.C.; one brother, Ellsworth Brown of Springfield, Ohio; one sister, Dorothy Jamison of Peebles; 20 grandchildren; 27 stepgrandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three sons, James, John Harold and William Lykins; one daughter, Joanna Lykins; and two sisters, Carolyn Berry and Betty Leeth.

Mrs. Lykins was a member of Union Hill Church.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Union Hill Church, with the Rev. Phil Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly, and Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.
