Roy T. Conley, 42, of Lucasville, died Friday, April 11, 2008, at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth.

Born Oct. 7, 1965, in Portsmouth, a son of the late Harold and Arlena Meade Conley, he was a sawmill laborer.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Davis Conley, whom he married Dec. 7, 1989; three children, William Jenkins, Brittany Jewett and Brandi Conley; a grandson, Nathan Jewett; four brothers, John Earl Conley, Willie Martin (Bernice) Conley, William Troy (Gina) Conley and Leon Cass Conley; seven sisters, Jenny Margaret (Bill) Downey, Panzie Marie (Marvin) Smith, Addie Faye (Bill) Shepherd, Suvillian Sue Hill, Anita Rose Tacket, Vesta Jean Howard and Polly Arlene (Wayne) Jenkins; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Harold Conley; and one sister, Junie Mae Wilson.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2008, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford, with Pastor Bob Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Jacobs Cemetery near Lucasville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, and one hour before the service Monday.
