Dorothy Marie Hall Carmichael, 75, of New Boston, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2008, at her residence.

She was born Dec. 25, 1932, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late Freelan and Nellie Mae Stout Hall.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Mays of New Boston, and Debbie (Donald) Wright of Minford; a son, Dean Hall of Wheelersburg; four sisters, Clara Young, Loretta Blackburn, Etta Bescoe and Sandy Oppy; three brothers, Jack, Roger and Freelan Hall Jr.; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Hall and Helen Shaffer.

Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, Ap-ril 11, 2008, at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, Ohio, with Pastor Ronnie Blevins officiating. Burial will be in Old Wheelersburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2008, and one hour before the service on Friday.
