Linda Gail Thompson, 56, of Sciotoville, died Friday, April 4, 2008, at Best Care Nursing Center in Wheelersburg.

Linda was born April 14, 1951, in Portsmouth, to George and Lucille Whitman Wittenmyer, who survive. Linda had worked for Mercy Hospital and Southern Ohio Medical Center as a lab tech.

Linda is survived by her husband, Kenny Thompson; one son, Derek (Melissa) Thompson of Georgetown, Ohio; two daughters, Alisha (Matt French) Thompson and Tiffany (Duane) Johnson of Chillicothe; three brothers, Frank, Rick and Chuck Wittenmyer; two sisters, Lisa Brown and Joyce Purdy; and eight grandchildren, Amber, Abby, Zach, Austin, Dylan, Alexis, Allison and Abbott.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Monday, April 7, 2008, at Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, with Lynn Wessell officiating, and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 to 1 on Monday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneral home.com.
