She was born June 18, 1922, in South Portsmouth, Ky., a daughter of the late Arthur and Lena Hanna Crawford. She was a homemaker and formerly employed at Loundrolux Laundry Mat on Perry Street in Fostoria, for 19 years. She was a member of Dillon Road Baptist Church in Fostoria.
Surviving are her husband, Clyde Stephens, of Fostoria, whom she married July 28, 1951, in Russell, Ky.; sisters, Ann (Mark) Walter of Fort Myers, Fla., Donna (Jim) Fittro and Carolyn (Gene) Tolbert, both of Fostoria; and brother, Bob (Sue) Crawford of Fostoria.
She also was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Keckler; and brothers, Jack, Charles and Arthur Crawford Jr.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, 301 West Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, with the Rev. Allen Minton officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Cemetery in Fostoria, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2008, at the funeral home.
