He was born Oct. 10, 1938, in Greenup County, Ky., a son of the late Hance Queen and Lula M. Miller Queen. He had retired from Ford Motor Co., as a diesel mechanic.
Surviving are three sons, Donald Queen Jr. of Seiverville, Tenn., Rodney Queen of Otway, Ohio, and Jeffrey Queen of Minford, Ohio; two daughters, Marlena Queen and Tammy Martin, both of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; five brothers, Larry Queen and Alfred Queen, both of Powellsville, Ohio, Roger Queen of West Portsmouth, Ohio, Paul Queen of Jacksonville, Fla., and Lloyd Queen of Medina, Ohio; four sisters, Rita Queen of Naples, Fla., Marsha Tucker of South Shore, Ky., Anita Queen of Medina, Ohio, and Candace Queen of Hopedale, Ohio; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Leroy Queen.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Ky., with Pastor Roger Powell officiating. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery, Ky.1, South Shore, Ky. Friends may call at Roberson Funeral Home from 6 until 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday.
