Louise Stanley, 69, of Garrison, Ky., died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.

Born May 8, 1938, in Garrison, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Lester and LeOtte Stephenson Kamer. She was a homemaker and a member of Bivens Chapel Christian Holiness Church in Garrison, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Stanley, Oct. 9, 1997; one brother, Ray Kamer; two infant brothers; and one infant sister.

She is survived by four sons, Gerald (Jackie) Stanley of Minford, Ohio, Paul David (Cindy) Stanley of Vanceburg, Ky., Kenneth (Kim) Stanley of Garrison, Ky., and Gary (Rebecca) Stanley of Georgetown, Ky.; three daughters, Lisa (Eddie) Helphenstine of Vanceburg, Ky., Judy (Don) Horsley of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Christina (Charles) Monteith of Tollesboro, Ky.; two brothers, Danny (Connie) Kamer of Garrison, Ky., and Lovell (Ann) Kamer of Vanceburg, Ky.; four sisters, Betty Dummitt, Marcella Roe, Janet (Olive) Lambert and Patty (Mike) Poynter, all of Garrison, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at Bivens Chapel Christian Holiness Church in Garrison, Ky., with Brother Chris Lawhun officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens in Black Oak, Ky.

Friends may call 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to the time of the service on Wednesday at Bivens Chapel Christian Holiness Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg, Ky.
