Helen Kazee, 81, of Lucasville, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.

She was born March 15, 1926, in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Owen and Hazel Hilt Allard.

She also was preceded in death by her husband, Curt Kazee, in 1978; one daughter, Margaret Kazee; three brothers, Bill, Ray and Lloyd Allard; and one sister, Jean Allard.

She was a homemaker and a member of Duck Run Baptist Church.

She is survived by five daughters, Doris Graham, of Sardinia, Lois Friend, of McDermott, Tammy Rigney, of Lucasville, Tina Rose, of Waverly, and Sharon Conley, of Wakefield; eight sons, Dallas Kazee, of Waverly, Gregory Kazee, of McDermott, Dale Kazee, of Bainbridge, Dennis Kazee, of McDermott, Tony Kazee, of Lucasville, John Kazee, of Wheelersburg, Rick Kazee, of New Boston, and Emory “Dean” Kazee, of Otway; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Allard, of South Shore; and four sisters, Doris Carver and Nellie Allard, both of Waverly, Alice Jordan, of Lucasville, and Rose Allard, of Colorado.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007, at Scioto Burial Park with Roger Hackworth officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from noon until 2 p.m. at McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
