Tony Griffith, 48, of Toccoa, Ga., died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was born May 15, 1958, in Portsmouth, a loving son of Frank and Hazel Griffith, of Rosemount.

Surviving are his wife, Janine Griffith; children, Jeremy and Karissa, of Toccoa, Ga.; brother-in-law and sister, Scott and Celeena Welch, of West Portsmouth; and niece and nephew, Abby and Trevar Welch, of West Portsmouth.

Tony was welcomed home to heaven by his grandparents, Henry and Josie Conley, Woody and Mary Griffith and Earl and Irene Miller; and niece, Amanda Welch.

Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at Whitlock Funeral Home in Toccoa, Ga.

Tony was a loving son, husband, father and brother, and if you met him, you instantly became his friend. He will be greatly missed by all.

I love you big brother.
