Their View: Actions of radical Muslims creates most suspicion -

The Council on American-Islamic Relations told the National Press Club this week the U.S. war on terrorism is both irrational and counterproductive, contributing to more “Islamophobia.”

“The new perception is that the United States has entered a war with Islam itself,” warned Parves Ahmed, chairman of CAIR's national board.

We were caught almost six years ago by our false sense of security and the result was the deaths of around 3,000 Americans. The terrorists may not be able to destroy America, but they certainly can kill more of us if they plan carefully enough and get lucky.

CAIR should acknowledge “Islamophobia” is being boosted far less by White House policies than by the actions of radical Muslims in the U.S. and the world.
