Christian Outreach Association will host a Christian Fellowship Walk from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 7 at Tracy Park, Ninth and Chillicothe streets. There will be free food and Christian music.

Sister Johanna celebrates jubilee

Sister Johanna (Jacob) Orlett's golden jubilee will be July 8. Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church will be at 11:30 a.m. followed by a reception in Maroon Hall.

Sister Johanna is a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Rochester, Minn. She joined the Franciscans in 1954. Her first ministry experience was teaching third grade at the former St. Mary's School in Portsmouth.

Sister Johanna will return to southern Ohio to celebrate the family and faith of her vocation to religious life.
