She was born Aug. 8, 1937, in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Oscar and Rena Sapp Nelson.
Surviving are her husband, Albert Theile; daughters, Tamara Smith and Sandy Grooms; sons, David Smith, Albert Theile Jr., William Theile and Daniel Theile; sister, Barbara Hannah; brothers, Harold Nelson, Robert Nelson, William Nelson and Carl Nelson; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Beam Funeral Home in West Union with Ivan Grooms officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
