He was born June 19, 1934, in West Union, a son of the late Paul and Agnes Bradford Chamblin.
Surviving are his wife, J. Ann Chamblin; daughter, Robin Hileman; son, Markus Chamblin; brothers, Paul Wayne Chamblin, Milton Chamblin and Rodney Chamblin; sisters, Doris Gilkison and Mary Ellen McCarty; and three grandchildren.
Private services will be at Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union with Pastor Cliff Stevens officiating and interment in Decatur Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
