She was born Feb. 24, 1924, in Newport, Ky., a daughter of the late John Horn and Nancy Niekirk Horn. She was preceded her in death by her husband, Donald Clarence Ray.
Surviving are son, Donald Ray; daughter, Diane Smith; brother, Paul Horn; sisters, Norma Allen, Irene Rogers and Elnore Upton; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly with Dean Manning, minister, officiating and interment in Bailey Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
