He was born Nov. 25, 1905, in Lawrence County, a son of the late George and Kate Blowers Massie.
Surviving are his wife, Goldie McGlone Massie; sons, Frank Massie, Oscar Massie Jr. and George Massie; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home in Ironton with the Rev. James Cremeans officiating and interment in Woodland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
