He was born May 12, 1959, in San Pedro, Calif., a son of Robert Spencer and Delores Spencer.
Also surviving are his brothers, William, Robert, Guy, Ronald, Mark, Darren and Kevin Spencer; and sisters, Deborah Spencer Hoobler and Michelle Spencer.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Melcher Funeral Home in Portsmouth with the Rev. Ted Machnik officiating and interment in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
