She was born Jan. 8, 1916, in Madison Township, a daughter of the late Orel K. and Clara Herrmann Dever. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarice Howard Preston.
She is survived by a son, the Rev. Howard Preston; daughter, Delores Gampp; sisters, Ethel Parkes and Erma Buckle; five grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Minford United Methodist Church and interment in Bennett Cemetery.
Friends may callfrom 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
