She was born Jan. 22, 1913, in Oldtown, Ky., a daughter of the late Daniel and Georgianna Allen Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Palmer.
Surviving are sons, Luther and Theodore Palmer; daughters, Flotillia Fields, Loretta Carter and Nyoka Evans; sister, Ida Logan; 21 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup with Pastor James Daniels officiating and interment in McGuire Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
