He was born July 23, 1940 in Waterloo, a son of the late Charlie and Mamie Sharp Cade.
Surviving are sons, Michael D., Donald Ray, Kevin and Duane Cade; daughter, Teresa Brown; brothers, Harold, Jim, Cecil and Kenneth Cade; sisters, Lucille Baer, Marge Fetter and Betty Roark; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home in Ironton with the Rev. Larry Joseph officiating and interment in Macedonia Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
