Clay Morris Pittman, 91, of South Webster, died Monday, April 2, 2007, at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson.

He was born Jan. 17, 1916, in Bailey, Okla., a son of the late Calvin Andrew Pittman and Louisa May Bryson.

He was a World War II Army veteran.

Surviving are wife, Dorsie Eleanor Lewis Pittman; son, Clay Morris Pittman Jr.; daughters, Nancy Faye Payne, Lyda Bess Steinmetz, Mary Elizabeth Stephens and Rebecca Sue Leasure; sister, Ruth Farmer; 12 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at South Webster Missionary Baptist Church with Toby Todd officiating and interment in South Webster Cemetery with military graveside rites by the American Legion James Dickey Post.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at D.W. Davis Funeral Home in South Webster.
