The Scioto County Joint Vocational School is having an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 8 at 951 Vern Riffe Drive, Lucasville.

Activities will include tours, student demonstrations, raffle, health screenings, and a free chili dinner in the school cafeteria.

The open house will celebrate National Career and Technical Education Week.

The Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine Community Health Programs, Childhood Immunization Program, of Athens, provides immunizations for children.

Vaccine for children will be provided only to the following individuals: children on Medicaid; children whose parents have no insurance; American Indians; and Alaskan natives.

The following vaccines from VFC are now available:
