Bus trip to March for Life is planned
Scioto County Right to Life is chartering a bus to the annual “March for Life” scheduled for Jan. 22, 2007, in Washington, D.C. The bus will depart Portsmouth at 7 a.m. Jan. 21, and will return at approximately 2 a.m. Jan. 23.
The round trip includes a room at the Capitol Hilton and a ticket to the Ohio Right to Life breakfast where the featured speaker will be Ramesh Ponnuru, pro-life author and senior editor for National Review.
The cost of the trip is $170 per adult or student, or it is $135 per adult or student without the breakfast.
The price is based on 55 passengers on the bus and double occupancy of hotel rooms, and the hotel allows a maximum of four occupants per room.
The trip is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather or an insufficient number of participants.
The deadline for payment and registration is Dec. 12.
