OLBH offers breast health events

Officials with the Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital will have two free events for women concerning breast health.

OLBH breast health experts will offer instruction on learning breast self-examination at 5 p.m. Nov. 30 in the education classroom of the Diabetes and Wound Care Center, located on the ground floor of Bellefonte Centre.

Following the 5 p.m. event, OLBH will host a breast cancer support group beginning at 6 p.m. The evening's topic will be “Healthy eating for Life.” Light refreshments will be served.

Both free events are open to the public.

Greenbo has an Appalachian Holiday

Greenbo Lake State Resort Park will have its Festival of Trees open house Dec. 2 and 3. The open house will include decorated trees, holiday crafts and bazaar, and entertainment by area school and church choirs perform. The Festival of Trees will be on exhibit until January.

A commemorative Greenbo Open House Recipe Booklet will be given to the first 1,000 visitors at the open house.

The Open House will be from 1 to 8 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
