There were more eye-raising results this Friday than I can remember in a long time.
Wheelersburg beats Valley 21-0, Oak Hill stuns Symmes Valley 34-6, Ironton gets a 28-20 overtime scare against Marietta and, for those SEOAL fans, Chillicothe gets bounced 42-15 by Jackson a week after blowing out Ironton.
Ironton and Portsmouth both beat Jackson.
Sticking with the SEOAL, how does 2-4 Marietta nearly knock off the Fighting Tigers? That league is going to be interesting. There's a lot of depth and two losses might be good enough for a share of the title.
