“Motorists are reminded to use extra caution while transiting through the downtown area throughout the weekend and to allow extra time to reach their destinations,” Police Chief Charles Horner said in a statement.
Shuttles will be available to help River Days visitors get to all the events, however.
The city has instituted numerous parking restrictions and street closings this weekend.
