Choir practice for the 2006 Spring Jubilee will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Scioto Baptist Church on Cockrells Run.

This is the 10th Jubilee and all interested singers from the area should rally and come out to make this year's the largest choir ever. The goal is 200 choir members. The choir will be singing the top 10 most popular jubilee songs as voted on by the jubilee friends.

Other rehearsals will be at 6:30 p.m. each evening before services each day.

Spring Jubilee is May 15-19 at the Scioto County Fairgrounds.

Ladies conference is May 12-13

Lucasville Church of God's Ladies Ministry will host a ladies conference titled “The Basket Weavers” May 12 and 13 at the church, 504 Morris Lane, Lucasville. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Diane Collins, an evangelist from North Carolina.

Registration will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday with the service starting at 7 p.m. Saturday service will be at 10 a.m., and dinner will be at 1 p.m.
