The Workforce Connections of Scioto County will present a free briefing to all interested customers at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Community Action Organization Building, 433 Third St.
Information on state benefits, identifying potential state jobs, applying for Civil Service Testing and for specific jobs including how to properly prepare a Ohio Civil Service Application will be given.
The briefing will last approximately one hour and 15 minutes.
Northwest celebrates reading week
Northwest Elementary School will be celebrating it's annual Reading Week today through Friday. This year's theme is “Inventors - Read All About Them.” The book fair is included in this weeklong event. Parents may preview the fair from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday during the Evening With The Arts Program.
