Rosemary Lerch, 82, a Portsmouth native, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at her home in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

She was retired from the Ohio Power Company and was of the Presbyterian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Lerch, May 4, 2006; and a brother, John L. Coriell.

She is survived by a niece, Judith (Richard M.) Maxian of Suwannee, Georgia; a nephew, John R. Coriell of Melbourne, Florida; a sister-in-law, Roberta L. Coriell of Melbourne, Florida; two great-nephews, Richard M. Maxian, II and Donald Coriell; and two great-nieces, Mary M. Knight and Cynthia Bennett.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at F. C. Daehler Mortuary Company in Portsmouth with the Reverend Evan Fisher officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Daehlers.
