A police dispatcher said that the man was described as a white male wearing a Carhartt jacket and a racing hat.
No other information was available at press time.
Collector's Corner scheduled Sunday
A Collector's Corner will be assembled from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Southern Ohio Museum and will feature approximately 75 paintings displayed and available for purchase by event guests. The collection of lithographs, oils and watercolors accumulated and presented by Columbus' Lyle Gallery owner, Timothy Knapp, will each be available for purchase during this unique event where refreshments will be served.
There is no event admission.
Immunization clinic is canceled
There will be no immunization clinic Wednesday and April 12 at the Portsmouth City Health Department. Immunizations will resume at the regular times April 19.
Wheelersburg offers conferences Thursday
Wheelersburg Local Schools will have parent-teacher conference Thursday. Conferences in grades kindergarten-three will be 3 to 8:30 p.m. and are scheduled. Conferences for grade four will be 3:40 to 8:30 p.m. and no appointment will be needed. Grades five-eight will have conferences from 2:30 to 5 p.m. and 5:30 to 8 p.m. The high school conferences will be 2:30 to 5 p.m. and 5:30 to 8 p.m. No appointment will be needed for grades five-12. There will be no school in the district Friday.
Sciotoville school report is completed
The unaudited 2005 financial report has been completed for Sciotoville Community School and may be examined at the business manager's office, 224 Marshall Ave., Sciotoville, between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
