Because of an editor's error, a headline was unclear on a story on Page A1 of Friday's Ports-mouth Daily Times about Daniel J. Payton's sentence. The Fayette County court sentenced Payton to 35 years to life in prison for the Tabitha Jo Bogart murder. Combined with the two other cases Payton was charged in, he is to serve a total of 154 years to life in prison. The Portsmouth Daily Times apologizes for the error.
