Like heart care.
“We know there is a lot of heart disease in our community and our patients have to travel sometimes long distances for services,” said Dean Wray, chief financial officer at Southern Ohio Medical Center. “If we can offer this in our community, there are so many people that need it, the financial part will be taken care of.”
There will be other tests available at the new facility, some of the specific heart tests and some of the other tests that now have to be ordered from other hospitals.
