Vickie Renee McKinley, 57, of Portsmouth, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011 at SOMC. She was born June 25, 1954 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late George Patton and Ruth Evelyn Moore McKinley, Sr.

Vickie was a homemaker and a member of Kingdom Builders Evangelistic Ministries.

Surviving are her nine children, Rosalyn Hairston and Markus (Ocipare) McKinley, all of Columbus, Chester, Elisha, Shannon, Greg, Jerry, Lanige, and Dion McKinley, all of Portsmouth; siblings, Keith and Jodi McKinley, and Diane Gillyard all of Columbus, Ronald McKinley of Hempstead, NY, Dell McKinley of Phoenix, AZ, Irene McKinley of Queens, NY, Donald and Duane McKinley, Roxanne Ferguson and Kay Kelly, all of Portsmouth; 19 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by siblings Eugene, Carlos and George P. McKinley, Jr., Shirley Moore, Priscilla Campbell and Katrina Jackson.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 am at Kingdom Builders Evangelistic Ministries with Elder David Malone officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
