10 faces 48 drug charges

A total of 48 drug-related charges have been filed in the latest round of indictments handed down by a Scioto County grand jury.

Marco D. Houston, 32 of Harrison Township, Mich., and Danny Horsley, aka Clyde J. Lark, 34 of Muskegon, Mich., each face two counts of trafficking in drugs and two counts of possession of drugs, a count of conspiracy to traffic in drugs, as well as a count of tampering with evidence with a forfeiture specification. The two were arrested in a car on Eighth Street on Sept. 9, in a bust that netted authorities $40,000 in pills and at least $14,000 cash.

Breon A. Kelly, 24, of Columbus is charged with trafficking in crack cocaine, possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs/crack cocaine, trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs, and possession of criminal tools with a forfeiture specification.

Shelby A. Nelson, 18, of Gahanna faces two counts of possession of drugs, trafficking in crack cocaine, trafficking in drugs/crack cocaine and trafficking in drugs, as well as a charge of possession of criminal tools with a forfeiture specification.

Johnny Shane Warner, 38, of Portsmouth faces a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia in addition to breaking and entering, vandalism, possession of criminal tools and tampering with coin machines.

Michael J. Noel, 28, of Portsmouth was indicted on illegal possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, possession of drugs/methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence.

Paula A. Riley, 35, of Pedro was indicted on charges of illegal possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ronald L. Lennex, 41, of Dayton is charged with illegal possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Savanna J. Darby, 25, Mitchell M. Waring, III, 35, both of Portsmouth, Terry W. Kilgore, 25, and Deandre J. Buchanan, 23, both of Dayton, were all indicted on charges of trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs, conspiracy to traffic in drugs, possession of criminal tools, and tampering with evidence with a firearm specification.

John H. West, Jr., 24, of Columbus was indicted on two counts of possession of drugs, trafficking in crack cocaine, trafficking in drugs/crack cocaine, trafficking in drugs and possession of criminal tools with a forfeiture specification.

Ranatha J. Thomas, 42, of Portsmouth is charged with possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs.
