Ohio Pest Control Inc., in conjunction with the city of Portsmouth will be conducting mosquito spraying on September 19th and 20th from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. If inclement weather prevents the spraying, then spraying will be done on September 26th and 27th, at the same time. Anyone with respiratory problems should consider closing their windows and shutting off any window unit air conditioners until the fog has dissipated.
SOMC created Mended Hearts chapter
The Heart and Vascular Services at Southern Ohio Medical Center have formed a local chapter of the Mended Hearts program and will meet from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 20 at the SOMC Friends Community Center, 1202 18th St. in Portsmouth. For more information or to reserve your seat, please call 740-356-7663.
