Beginning today at noon and continuing until 4 p.m., the college will have food, music, games and inflatables for children. The community is invited to come check out some of the career education programs that Daymar College has to offer. Tour the campus, meet with faculty and staff, and talk with financial aid advisors.
"We have events like this Fall Festival to bring in the community and recognize the students who are getting ready to start classes. Also we like to do events like this because it offers a fun, relaxing environment for anyone who might be timid about coming to get information or possibly enrolling. It's a fun atmosphere and students can come down and enjoy it, but also anyone in the public can come down," said Allison McConnell, director of admissions at Daymar College.
Health screenings will be provided by students, and a mock crime scene will be staged for visitors to check out.
Daymar College is enrolling now for classes beginning Sept. 26. The school offers programs in criminal justice, medical assisting, pharmacy technician, paralegal studies, and business management. For more information, call 740-456-4124, or find them online at www.daymarcollege.edu.
