Wheelersburg def. Valley 3-1
Wheelersburg volleyball took down Valley in four games on Tuesday night winning 23-25, 25-18, 25-19 and 25-21.
Senior captain Ciara Corriell led the way for the Pirates with 10 points. Fellow senior captain Eric Schmidt registered nine kills.
Fay Proehl also had six blocks.
The Pirates improve to 2-1 and travel to South Webster on Thursday.
Northwest def. Oak Hill 3-0
Northwest notched their first victory of the season beating Oak Hill 25-18, 25-10, 25-19 on Tuesday evening.
Rachel Moos had nine kills while Melanie Smalley had four. Maegan Lynn had six kills and also notched 32 good sets and ten assists.
The Falcons take on Minford at home on Thursday.
Notre Dame def. New Boston 3-0
Notre Dame beat New Boston in three games on Tuesday winning 25-6, 25-15, 25-12.
Erin Monroe had nine kills and Katie Kayser had nine assists. Andrea Marchyn had ten good passes and 17 good serves.
Notre Dame improves to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the SOC.
The Titans take on Green on Thursday.

Clay def. Eastern 4-1
Clay took down Eastern in a 4-1 contest on Tuesday evening.
Eastern struck first in the 15th minute with a goal by Billy Lykins assisted by Wyatt Wheler.
Clay responded in the 30th minute with a goal by Dennis Conkle assisted by Shannon Curley.
After the intermission, Clay continued their scoring barrage with a goal by Eli Kelley seven minutes in to make 2-1.
With 20 minutes remaining, Kelley struck again, unassisted to make it 3-1.
The last goal of the evening came off a cross pass from Mason Pelphrey to Kelley who headed it in with ten minutes left.
Clay had 19 shots to Eastern's 32.
Chase Hiles had a big game in goal with ten saves in only his third game as a starter.
Clay improves to 3-1-1 on the season and will take on Northwest Thursday at 6 p.m.
Minford def. Northwest 2-1
Bo Vallandingham recorded a goal and an assist as host Minford defeated Northwest 2-1.
Christian Riley scored the lone goal for the Mohawks early in the first half.
