Portsmouth's syringe exchange program sickening

I was upset and sickened by the article about new program exchange 952 syringes. What a celebration.

Have we gotten to the point that we assist in criminal behavior? Do we say we can’t stop the IV drug users, so let’s give them syringes to assist them? Do we pass out child pornographic material because we can’t stop the acts of perverts that prey on our children? God forbid!

Call it Prevention not Permission if you care to but, the results are the same, helping a person to break the law. Why don’t we assist diabetics with needles. They need help to live not die.

If you think the IV drug users care if an innocent person gets infected, guess again. Their only concern is getting their next fix.

Wake up, Portsmouth. Why was this not considered for publication?

william,

Sorry, but there's a very thin line between the criminals and the authorities. There may be studies on that?

But to exist in life they support one another, that's why there are what's called "snitches."

Your observation is absolutely correct. But exists beyond Scioto county perhaps just worst here?

Ask Hughes one of the Oligarchy at the counseling center emporium, cottage industry living off of that dole, being friends with the addicts enabling and empowering them, job security?

Check out the "Stockholm" Syndrome, you'll see.

It's the same in the state jails, that's why so many CO's get fired for smuggling in drugs and stuff.

Oh, the PDT's selects what they want for publication, and do not want to hurt their circulation and ads. It's so transparent.
