Lucy Etta Thompson Hall, 83, of Buckeye Towers, New Boston, Ohio, died Monday, June 27, 2011 at her residence.

She was born in York, Kentucky, March 28, 1928 a daughter of the late James W. Thompson and Mary Ellen Farmer Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hall, Dec. 10, 1980; a son Allen Hall, Jan. 9, 1981; three brothers, Daniel, James M. and Luther Thompson; and two sisters, Nola Thompson and Bessie Adams.

Surviving is one sister, Margaret Daw of Pensacola, Florida.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2011 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky, with Rev. Norman Potter officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday.
